Antonio Brunetti was born in Italy and migrated to Australia in 1993. He has had extensive experience in the food and wine industry. His expertise in fine food and passion for wines has grown greatly over the past twenty years.
Upon completing the following certificates Antonio has gathered a wealth of knowledge and understanding in the food and wine industry.
- Certificate IV in Australian Contemporary Cuisine
- WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits
- Certificate from the Italian Wine Scholar Guild
He managed an Italian restaurant for 10 years, and he was a sales representative for an Italian wine company based in Sydney for another 10 years.
In 2013 he joined Il Mercante food and wines.
Since January 2017 is the solo proprietorship and Managing Director. The company has an exciting portfolio of boutique wines from Italy, Australia and New Zealand.
